Slow Cooked Oatmeal

Ingredients: Oat (quick/rolled/steel-cut), Water

Note: The ratio of oat to water is always 1:5.

Cooking Instructions:

  1. In a ceramic pot, combine oat and water together.

  2. Turn on high heat. Cook uncovered for 3 minutes.

  3. Stir with wooden spoon. Turn off the heat when steam becomes visible, then immediately cover with lid.

  4. Let it sit for 25 minutes.

  5. Open the lid. Stir. Turn on high heat for 3 minutes.

  6. Turn off the heat, cove with lit, and let it sit for 25 minutes.

  7. Stir and serve.
